Yes, it’s true. The minds behind Paradigm have been up to some big things. This summer we have already been in the magical swamp lands of New Orleans, the jungles of the Philippines, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, New York City, Maryland, New London, Greenwich Ave, all while acquiring a steady sales force in Paris and South Beach. We built homes, battled voodoo, and infused ourselves with some of the most enriching and unique cultures our world has to offer. Achieving the impossible is a habit here.
Just in these past two weeks we have meet with the likes of Ralph Lauren Polo Rugby, Shep and Ian Murray, the co-founding brothers behind Vineyard Vines, and a few others forces of modern fashion, all of which were fascinated with the direction of our brand. Some were surprised to see us meeting with brands that existed in a completely different market. Polo Rugby and Vineyard Vines are usually classified as “Preppy” or “Ivy” style brands. We like that. All forms of fashion inspire us. Designers from both companies came in to take a look at what we are creating. The people that push the Pink Whale were captured by the energy of the Assembly Chapter while the youthful creatives at Rugby couldn’t get enough of the Folio.
Collaborative sparks went flying when we unveiled both the Plus5060 and 1700Gold product lines. The Enlightened Foundation Snapback hat was seen as “something that should be sold in an art gallery.” The cap itself has been flying off shelves nationwide. Blog writers are posting its praises daily.
Hearing this from such dominate brands was an honor. The guys at Vineyard Vines have created a lifestyle that embodies “the good life” and during our relaxing time at their headquarters, we realized that is exactly what they are doing. Polo Rugby recreates the look that was born on college campuses during the 1920s while keeping everything fresh. Everyone involved got the inspiration. They all agreed that the potential of Paradigm could change the face of modern fashion. It was a great learning experience for us. There is something academic in the air–
